about:
Orange bitters are a highly aromatic cocktail ingredient made by infusing a neutral spirit with bitter orange peels, spices, and botanicals. They add a complex citrusy depth with bitter, herbal, and slightly spicy notes, making them a versatile tool in mixology. Different brands and styles of orange bitters may incorporate ingredients such as cardamom, coriander, anise, cinnamon, or gentian root, contributing to their unique flavor profiles. They are widely available and used not only in cocktails but also in culinary applications, such as marinades, sauces, and baked goods.
